The LTT Group was formalized in 2014, in order to consolidate the management of the numerous subsidiaries of the parent company Lizmontagens, based in Lisbon, Portugal, as well as to strengthen its presence in industrial sectors as diverse as glass, steel production, cement and energy production, among others. The LTT LIZMONTAGENS THERMAL TECHNOLOGIES Group is today a world leader in the assembly of industrial furnaces and is considered one of the main international references in the know-how applied to the containment of industrial heat. International markets represent over 95% of the Group’s turnover.

Lizmontagens SA, the best known of the LTT Group companies, is connected to the Delgado family, who, taking advantage of Portugal’s industrial growth in the 1960s and 1970s, acquired the Cerâmica do Liz company, thus starting the production of refractory products.

Out of a desire to improve the offer for its domestic customers, Lizmontagens was born in October 1978, integrating the refractory materials installation teams into a structure independent of production.

International expansion
After constant growth that led it to be the leader of the Portuguese market, in 1994 Lizmontagens began international expansion to seek new development opportunities.
Following the consolidation of leadership in the European market, the companies of the LTT Lizmontagens Thermal Technologies Group are now distributed across five continents: from North America to Japan.
